David Leonard Proffitt Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 27, 2024, at the age of 73, David Leonard Proffitt (Cosby, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Proffitt and Virginia Proffitt; his daughter Amy; and his brother-in-law John DiCesare. He is survived by: his wife Christine Proffitt; his children, David Proffitt (Dianna), Robert Proffitt and Lisa Elkins (Shane); his grandchildren, Corey, Isaac and Gabe; his great grandchild Sophie; his sisters, Janie Holt (Gary) and Nancy (Don); his sister-in-law Andrea DiCesare; his cousins, Randal and Susan Proffitt; and his close friend Rev. Lucian Baker. He is also survived by several nephews, many cousins, and dear friends.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Waters-Large Cemetery.
