With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Michael Barr of Cosby, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 20, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Phyllis Barr; his sister Deborah Barr; his brother-in-law William Farley Ball; and his parents-in-law, James H. and Alice Faye Shults.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Barr; his grandchildren, Axel, Maximus, Ava, Perry, Ronan and Autumn; his siblings, Terry Bowens (Roger) of Greeneville and Larry Barr of Kingsport; his sister-in-law DeAnn Shults; his nephew Chris Eaton (Abigail); his close friends, Debbie Mayer of Cosby, Adam, Terri King of Cosby, Brian Buckman (Lorri) of Atlanta, Mark Mugford of Knoxville and Hannah Leatherwood of NewportSpecial Thanks; and his caregiver Dr. Thatcher. He is also survived by numerous nieces, cousins.
