He was predeceased by: his wife Ila Fern Hurst; his parents, Clay Hurst and Betty Hurst; his siblings, Bufford Hurst, Glen Hurst and Janie Hurst; and his son-in-law Eugene McGaha.
He is survived by: his daughter Donna McGaha; his granddaughter Katandra McGaha; his great grandchild Abrinnia Roach; his sisters, Eula Hurst and Leaona Breeden; his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Cox, Charlene, Jerry Dunn and Charlie Huff; his friends, Jack and Bonnie Waters; his close friend Kasey Kallins; and also, Scott, Lisa Atkins, Rev. Sherman Ball and Rev. Leon Large.
