He was predeceased by: his parents, Xagus Lett and Marie Lett; and his sister Elva Ferguson. He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his sons, Chris (Yvonne) and Jeff (Michelle); his grandchildren, Branden Lett (Cassie), Corey Lett, Joshua Lett and Maria; his great grandchildren, Jayla, Joanna, Lynly and Tezlyn; and his siblings, Larry (Jeri), Gary (Becky) and Joyce Jessee (Kelsie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be sent to Tri County Honor Guard P.O. Box 362 Maynardville, TN 37807.
