He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorenz Kolb and Helen Kolb (Reckenthin); his siblings, Robert, Francis Kolb and Agnes Hollo (Kolb); his wife Dorothy; and his sons, Ronald and David.

He is survived by: his daughter Teresa Kiser (Doug); his grandchildren, Alex Kiser, Emily Kiser and Sara Kolb; and his great grandchildren, Bryce and Jillian.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Office of Veteran's Affairs in Xenia, Ohio.
