She is survived by: her husband Eugene Rogers; her brother D. C. Thomas; her daughter Gwendolyn Sue Etter (Rogers); her grandchildren, Eric Evan Etter and Taylor Elaine Etter; and her siblings, Bruce Thomas, Ruth Weaver (Thomas), Lucreta Williams (Thomas), Marie Blackstone (Thomas), Glenda Sue Campbell (Thomas), Horace Thomas and Archie Thomas.
