He was predeceased by: his daughter Katelyn Ashton Garrett; his granddaughter Madison Grace; and his brother William Ronald Beeler. He is survived by: his son William Micheal Hill; his parents, Lynn Garrett and Betty Chamberlain-Garrett; his siblings, Gary Beeler, Rhonda Beeler and Kathy Cutsinger; and his niece Angel Beeler.
