He was predeceased by: his parents, Haskell Fox and Ruth Fox (Dawson); and his siblings, Anderson Fox, Arlone Fox, Edna Sheffie, Charles Hubert Fox, Gladys Witt, Phoebe Barbee and Maggie McClain.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Fox (Dalton); his children, Jean Daniels (Harvey) and David Fox (Teresa); his grandchildren, Jennifer, Robby Gosnell, Jamie Fox, Jessica and Matt Bell; his great grandchild Hailee Gosnelland Ava Bell; his brother Mack Fox; and his sister-in-law Mary Fox. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
