He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Norton and Mary Jo Ridenour Norton; his wife Bonnie Norton; his stepfather Mirma Hatmaker; and his siblings, Michael Hatmaker, Dale Hatmaker, Rita Hensley and Myra King.
He is survived by: his children, Mitchell Norton (Suzanne) of Knoxville, Sammy Norton (Haley) of Andersonville, Aaron Belcher (Susan) of Unionville, Shiann Mariott (Steven) of Corryton, Crystal Vaughn of Clinton and Tammy Clark (David) of Jacksboro; and his siblings, Ernest A. Norton, Jr. of Louisville, Kentucky and Ann Hill (John). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
