She was predeceased by: her husband James Bernell Kitts; her daughter Betty Jo Kitts Wright; and her siblings, Bill, Bob, Jay Karnes and Jessie Kerr.

She is survived by: her granddaughter Laura Wright; her son-in-law Danny Wright; and her close friends, Debbie Medley, Ruth Howard, Debbie Wines, Brenda Greenlee and Faye Clark.
