It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Crockett Stitt of Corryton, Tennessee, born in LaGrange, Georgia, who passed away on February 6, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandmother Lilly Cook (Mama Lilly); his parents, Lorene Brandenburg and Samuel Stitt; and his siblings, Joe Stitt, Ray Brandenburg, Junior Brandenburg, Jerry Black, Angie Shepherd and Joanne Strickland.

He is survived by: his brothers, Johnny and Phillip Brandenburg; his sons, Ricky (Von), Michael (Meg) and Kipper Stitt (Cindy); his grandchildren, David Stitt, Kimberly Beaver (Shawn), Brandon Stitt (Megan), Amanda Moore (Jonathon), Caden Stitt and Duncan Stitt; and his great grandchildren, Chandler, Samuel, Bailey, Noah Beaver, Avery, River, Sierra, Leah and Naomi Jean Stitt.
