He is survived by: his son Jeff Johnson; his stepson Mike King Ted (Jo Ann); his granddaughters, Angi King York (Tom) and Jill King Jones (Chris); his great grandchildren, Joshua, Jared Osborne and Hollyn Jones; his great great grandchildren, Lauren, Lawson, Braille and Brooks; his brother Larry Johnson; his sisters-in-law, Mildred, Gloria and Sandy Johnson; and his nieces and nephews, Gail French, Melody Wyatt, Kim Johnson, Gary McMurray, Doug, Allen, Dirk, David and Edwin Johnson.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Halls Chapel (4131 E Emory Rd, Knoxville, TN 37938). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A procession will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Clapps Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery (7420 Clapps Chapel Rd, Corryton, TN 37721).

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Clapps Chapel Cemetery, Corryton.
