He is survived by: his wife Glenda Faye Poarch Reid; his daughter Dr. Carol Reid of Lewisburg; his grandchildren, Dr. Mark Mitchell (Courtney) of Bartlett, Sara Rust (Alexander) of Nolensville and Alexander Cohoon of Murfreesboro; his great grandchild Alexander Rust, II; his granddaughter Emily Rust; his sister Phyllis Perkins (Robert) of Lillington; his nephews, Dr. Steve Perkins (Kelley) of Knoxville and Scott Perkins (Jennifer) of Four Oaks; and his niece Sheri Rudisill (Eric) of Matthews.
