It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth D Parton of Cornersville, Tennessee, who passed away on July 11, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Etta Parton; his parents, Ben Parton and Ethel Parton; and his brother Junior Parton. He is survived by: his sons, Rod Parton (Joi) of Sevierville, TN and Greg Parton (Tina) of Maryville, TN.; his stepchildren, Tim Ownby of Cornersville, TN, Ted Ownby of Cornersville, TN, Randy Ownby of Nashville, TN., Sandy Stokes of Cornersville, TN and Tammy King of Pigeon Forge, TN.; his sister Patsy Layman; and his nephew David Layman. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
