He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Grethe Mae Malone Pigg of Athens, AL and John Andrew Pigg of Cornersville, TN.; his caregiver Nancy Pigg; his sons, Dewayne Herod (Erika) and Jonathan Pigg; his stepchildren, George Walker, IV (Shelley) and Akosua Watts (Duane "Stu"); his grandchildren, Dewayne, Tashina, Julia and Jacob; and his siblings, Mary Carter of Detroit, MI and Terry Pigg of Nashville, TN. He was also cherished by cousins, nieces, nephews.
