He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry and Thelma Henry. He is survived by: his wife Diane Hightower Henry of Cornersville; his children, DeShana Gardner (David) of Pulaski and Darryl Henry (Wendy) of Pulaski; his siblings, Coralee Williams (Johnny) of Smyrna, Eddie Henry (Jerrie) of Lewisburg and Terry Henry (JoAnn) of Lewisburg; and his sister-in-law Maietta Williams (Thomas) of Lewisburg. He is also survived by four grandsons, one granddaughter, and two great-grandsons.
