She was predeceased by: her parents, John Nichols and Josephine Valotta Nichols; her husband William L. Cherry; her daughter Tina L. Cherry; and her sisters, Betty Madelle, Beverly Smith, Marie Holmberg and Collene Womark.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Cherry Vickers (Johnny) of Pulaski, John W. Cherry of Lewisburg and Phillip R. Cherry (Dottie) of Huntsville, AL; and her siblings, Dolores Potts of Palmer, MA, John Nichols of Palmer, MA and Anthony Nichols (Margaret) of Casselberry, FL. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
