He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester C. Thomas and Thelma Brown Thomas; his wife Gay Hailey Thomas; his daughter Beth Hailey Thomas; and his siblings, John A. Thomas and Susan Raye Thomas.
He is survived by: his brother Jerry Thomas (June) of Union City; and his sisters-in-law, Ann and Elizabeth Hailey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
