It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Revell Hughes (Cordova, Tennessee), born in Trenton, Tennessee, who passed away on February 8, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Revell and Flossie Revell (Wilson); her husband Ira Blanton Hughes, Sr.; her son Douglas Hughes; and her siblings, Thomas and Nina Marie Willoughby (Revell).
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Hughes of Cordova, Ira Blanton Hughes, Jr. of Cordova, Randy Hughes of Indianapolis, IN and Linda Marquez (Hughes) of Houston, TX; and her brothers, Ralph Revell of Union City and Billy Revell of Union City. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to one of the following, Alzheimer's Assn., Gideon Bibles or the First United Methodist Church of Obion.
