He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Stafford Henry and Nelle Mae Wheeler Henry; his wife Shirley Henry; his daughter Deborah Henry; and his granddaughter Ellen Henry Wade.

He is survived by: his children, Darlene Henry Maclin (Jack), Rev. Jack S. Henry, Jr. (Janice) and Michael R. Henry (Jan). He is also survived by six grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
