With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Willie James Green of Copperhill, Tennessee, born in Maryville, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 26, 2024 at the age of 69. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Green and Elsie Caylor Green; and his siblings, Thomas Hicks Green, Melvin Green, Mary Ann Brown and Elizabeth Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Monnie Green; his sons, Samuel "Buddy" Chambers, Scotty J. Chambers, Timothy Olen Chambers and Willie Chambers; his grandchildren, Jordan Linderman (Kain), Jesse Chambers, Virginia Chambers and Isaac Chambers; his great grandchildren, Ezlynn Linderman, Ezme Linderman and Jonathan Lee James Chambers; his brother-in-law Todd Brown; his nephew David Green; his niece Pam Urse; and his close friend Rocket. He is also survived by several other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Akins-Cobb Copperhill Chapel (823 Ocoee St, Copperhill, TN 37317). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
