He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James "Lint" and Mary Hendrix Brooks; his brother Rudolph Brooks; the mother of his children Betty Sue Panter Brooks; his wife Alice Dell Ray Brooks; his sons, William Kent Brooks of Copperhill, TN and Jimmy Scott Brooks (Paula) of Copperhill, TN; his grandchildren, Justin Scott Brooks of Copperhill, TN and Amber Renee Brooks of Copperhill, TN; his great grandchildren, Aidan Elizabeth of Copperhill, TN., Vanessa Paige of Copperhill, TN., Kassidy Skylar of Copperhill, TN. and Asa Tobias Brooks of Copperhill, TN.; his siblings, Wayne Brooks (Janice) of McCaysville, GA and Mildred Brooks Queen of Copperhill, TN.; and his stepdaughters, Wanda Burke (Willy) of McCaysville, Wilda Dickey of McCaysville and Wionna Walker of McCaysville.
