With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Catherine Burger of Copperhill, Tennessee, who passed away on November 25, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Lelia Dockery Johnson; her husband Charles Leland Burger; and her siblings, Earl Johnson, Clint Johnson, LeRoy Johnson, Lynn Johnson, Imogene Smith, Lucille Campbell and Ann Mashburn.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Burger (Reba) of Navarre, FL and Marty Burger (Terri) of McCaysville, GA; her siblings, Kenneth Johnson of Copperhill, TN, Rev. Randy Johnson (Mescal) of Marble, NC, Ernie Bilton, Sue Whitener of Ducktown, TN and Frankie Isaacs of Belmont, NC; her grandchildren, Joel Burger (Kimberly), Jordan Burger (Whitney), Eric Burger and Mark Burger; and her great grandchildren, LilaKate Burger, Max Burger, Jaxson Burger and Liam Burger.
Flowers will be accepted for the service, however, if you would like to make a memorial contribution, the family has requested those to be made to the Bethlehem Baptist Church Mission Fund at 773 Burgertown Road, Copperhill, TN 37317.
