He was predeceased by: his parents, Richmond David "Wilburn" Holder and Carrie Evelyn Cook; his wife Patsy Taylor Holder; his siblings, Paul Holder, Opal Passmore, Floyd Holder, Willard Holder and Barbara Jo Owenby; and his sons-in-law, Dale Panter and Jim Mull.
He is survived by: his children, Joy Panter of Copperhill, TN, Richmond Lynn Holder (Mary Jane) of Cleveland, TN, Janet Patsy Mull of Copperhill, TN and Ella Jane Reedy (Chip) of Phenix City, AL; his siblings, Mitchell Holder (Barbara) of Copperhill, TN and Leeadice Holder of Ballground, GA; his grandchildren, Heather Pudil, Heath Panter, Joshua Holder, Jenny Kirkpatrick, Justin Bailey, Jillian Huffman, Cameron Mull and Jessie Reedy; and his great grandchildren, Nathan Pudil, Benjamin Holder, Samuel Holder, Christiann Kirkpatrick, Gideon Kirkpatrick, Evangeline Kirkpatrick, Corben Bailey, Riley Bailey and Dalton Bailey.
