He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Jasper Thomas and Willie Ruth Passmore Thomas; his granddaughter Gina Bradshaw; and his sisters, Kay "Tootsie" Brigman and Patsy Waters.
He is survived by: his daughters, Shauna Adams (Lee), Pam Satterfield (Eric), Audrey Bradshaw (Lynn) and Becky O'Neal (Eddie); his grandchildren, Jennifer Henry, Jessica Thomason, Wesley Adams, Kyle Adams, David Bradshaw, Noah O'Neal (Alexis), Isacc O'Neal and Micah O'Neal; and his siblings, Gary Thomas and Teresa Lowe. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
