She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Joseph and Laura Leona Hughes. She is survived by: her children, Lon Schronce (Debbie Quinn), Sheila (Andrew Shepard) and Van (Cindy Quinn); her grandchildren, Ginger (Gabriel Montgomery), Joseph (Debbie Quinn), Nikki (Jonathon Sloan), Adam (Sarah Quinn), Caroline Quinn (Forrest Leary) and Laura Shepard; her sister-in-law Katherine Hughes; her brother Glen (Lois Hughes); her sister-in-law Juanita Hughes; her brother Jack (Velma Hughes); and her daughter Evelyn.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made in Evelyn's honor to Williamstown United Methodist Church.
