He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore William Chapman and Seray Athaline Mashburn Chapman; and his brothers, James Chapman and Bynum Chapman. He is survived by: his wife Stella Chapman of Copperhill, TN; his children, Tammy Louise Chapman Mason (Michael) of Fredricksburg, VA and Rev. Kevin Chapman (Buffy) of Blairsville, GA; his grandchildren, Gaither Mason, Sara Kate Odom, Tyrus Mason, Tyrell Mason, Mary Kate Dickey, Ivie Chapman, Taryn Thomas and Shawn Mauldin; his great grandchildren, Carson Lee Odom, Jacklyn Stella Odom, Charlie Jay Odom, Elias Wade Dickey, Ezekiel James Dickey, Winsley Noel Thomas and Wren Alise Thomas; and his siblings, T. W. Chapman Lilburn (Donna), Ivan Chapman (Sherri) of Murphy, NC and Faye Greene (Tom).
