He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Charles Burger and Grace Reba Johnson Burger; and his sisters, Joyce Trantham and Joanna Gmeiner. He is survived by: his wife Mary Catherine Burger; his children, Ronald Burger (Reba) of Marietta, GA and Marty Burger (Terri) of McCaysville, GA; his grandchildren, Eric Burger, Joel Burger (Kimberly), Mark Burger and Jordan Burger (Whitney); his great grandchildren, Liam Burger, LilaKate Burger and Max Burger; and his sister Jean Kennedy of Copperhill.
Flowers will be accepted for the service, however, if you would like to make a memorial contribution, the family has requested those to be made to the Bethlehem Baptist Church Mission Fund.
