It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Jewel Ferrell of Cookeville, Tennessee, who passed away on September 16, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Derwin Gaw, Sr. and Eula Lee Gaw (Malone); her husband Robert Lafayette Ferrell, Jr.; and her brothers, Howard, James and Shirley Gaw.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Ferrell (Debbie) and Carolyn Revis (Jim); her grandson Roger Ferrell, II (Mary Kathleen); her stepgrandson Chris Farley (Adriana); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Chaz and Robbie Farley; and her siblings, Roy Gaw, Jr., Paul Gaw (Jeanette), Evelyn Burgess and Jack Gaw. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
