He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Loraine "Pat" Holt (Cuff) and J. C. Holt; his brother Stan McGinniss; his parents-in-law, Hooper and Pat Burgess; his sister Sharon Hale (Robert); and his siblings-in-law, Walt Dennis, Brent Adams, Danny Burgess and Debbie Duncan.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Holt (Burgess); his son Lee Holt (Stephanie); his granddaughter Addison Holt; his sisters, Carol Adams and Delores Dennis; his sisters-in-law, Jo Slagle and Faye Spurlock (Kenny); and his friends, Stan, Gina McGinniss, Ginger, Levi, Braylee Underwood, Sam and Veronica McGinniss. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, along with numerous Church family and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Crest Lawn Funeral Home (800 W Jackson St, Cookeville, TN 38501). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
