He was predeceased by: his parent John Bain; and his siblings, Benton Bain, David Bain, Ruth Goodwin and Clela Wingo.

He is survived by: his parent Mae Belle Jared Bain; his wife Ola Nadine Bain of Walling; his children, Roy Quinton Bain (Nancy) of Walling and Carol Bain of Chattanooga; his granddaughters, Jennifer Benay Lewis and Teresa Jodine Bain; his great grandchildren, Madison Lewis, Amberlynn Lewis, Quinton Lewis and Angelina Whited; and his siblings, Mary Roberson of Chattanooga and John Bain of Walling. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
