We are sad to announce that on January 7, 2025, at the age of 89, Nancy Marie Green Brown of Cookeville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Warner Green and Nancy Mudd Green; and her brothers, Bobby and Donald Green. She is survived by: her husband Johnnie Dale Brown; her stepchildren, Johnnie Ray Denton (Kathleen), Leslie Yates (Michael), Vickie Denton, Mark Ray and Stephen Denton (Sherrie); her nephews, Alan Green (Lorie) and Darren Green (Teresa); and her brother Hyeon Hong. She is also survived by Seven step-grandchildren Thirteen step-great-grandchildren A host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 9:30 AM and from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hunter Funeral Home (120 Bockman Way, Sparta, TN 38583). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home (120 Bockman Way, Sparta, TN 38583). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Woodlawn Cemetery.
