It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Joanne Garrison of Cookeville, Tennessee, born in Westfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 28, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Zarkowski and Sophie Zarkowski; her husband Harold Garrison; and her brother John Zarkowski (Sophie). She is survived by: her children, Brent Garrison (Vicki) of Richmond, VA and Valerie Williams (Charles) of Lexington, MI; her grandchildren, Blaine Garrison (Lama), Ryan Garrison, Wendy Boyle (Ryan) and Chad Williams (Brianna); her sister-in-law Dorisse Yokley; and her nephew Leonard Zarkowski. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests for donations to be made to First United Methodist Church of Cookeville.
