She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester King and Lorelle King; and her sister Thelma Fields Cunningham. She is survived by: her husband Ronnie Lafever; her children, Kim Coada (Stan) and Tracie Simmons (Chris); her grandchildren, Taylor Coada (Darcy), Kailey Bennett (Steven) and Hannah Smith-Martha (Chevon); her great grandchildren, Randall, Violet, Dylan and Henry; and her sister Velma Peek.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cookeville Chapel (59 N Jefferson Ave, Cookeville, TN 38501). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at the West Cemetery.
