He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlow Gentry and Anna Ruth Mabe Gentry; his wife Debra Gentry; and his sister Linda Ellington. He is survived by: his daughter Tara Stephens (Joey) of Baxter; his siblings, Steve Gentry (Debe) of Cookeville and Darlene Overstreet of Cookeville; and his grandchildren, Wade Stephens, Addison Stephens and Molly.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home, Inc. (2131 S Grundy Quarles Hwy, Gainesboro, TN 38562). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
