He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Gilbert and Willene Shipley Bumbalough; his son-in-law Mike Valko; his brothers, Jerry Bumbalough and Philip Bumbalough; and his brother-in-law Herb Gentry.
He is survived by: his children, Darrell Bumbalough of Antioch, TN, Jim Bumbalough (Teresa) of Clarksville, TN and Sherry Valko of Bull Head, AZ; his siblings, Roy Bumbalough of Algood and Ruth Gentry of Brentwood, TN; his sister-in-law Cindy Bumbalough of Texas; his grandchildren, Nicholas Valko, Nathan Valko, Clinton Tyler Bumbalough, Tori Bumbalough, Tanner Bumbalough, Shelbi Lund and Mandi Adams (Kyle); and his significant other Pattie Crawford of Mt. Juliet, TN.. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Dyer Chapel (798 S Willow Ave, Cookeville, TN 38501). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
