Dorothy Greenwood Gentry Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 24, 2024, at the age of 97, Dorothy Greenwood Gentry (Cookeville, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Greenwood and Minnie Greenwood; her siblings, William Walter Greenwood, Clara Smith, Ethel Kirk and Stella McBroom; her grandson James Waldie; her granddaughter-in-law Jennifer Gentry; and her children-in-law, Drucella Gentry and Steve Nunley.
She is survived by: her children, Frances Nunley and Richard Benton Gentry; her grandchildren, Tracey Gail Gentry, Brent Gentry, Rachael Lowhorn (Daniel) and Mitch Nunley (Ashley); and her great grandchildren, Blake Gentry (Victoria), Bryce Gentry, Caleb Lowhorn, Charis Lowhorn, Joshua Lowhorn and Ayden Nunley. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the West Cemetery (8901 Fairview Rd, Cookeville, TN 38506).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the West Cemetery Fund.
