He was predeceased by: his parents, George K. Davis and Rosa Pauline Mackie Davis; his wife Sheryl Stevenson Davis; his daughter Lacrisha Davis; and his siblings, Sam Davis, Peggy Wilmoth and Shirley Brandon.
He is survived by: his son Daniel Davis (Catherine Harris); his grandsons, Caleb Davis, Hunter Davis, Christopher Harris and Franklin Harris; and his great grandchild Caspian Harris. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
