He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Edward and Clara Bethene Bayless Cole; and his brother Jeff Cole. He is survived by: his sister Glenece Cole; his aunts, Floella "Bill" Pendergrass, Judy Marston, Gay Hillis (Kelly) and Dot Bayless; his sister-in-law Cheryl Cope; his nephew Cody Cole; his niece Carly Whalen (Tanner); and his great-niece Ivy Whalen.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Van Buren County Resource Center or Mooneyham Church of God Community Outreach Program.
