It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Edward Blair of Cookeville, Tennessee, who passed away on February 13, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Blair and Dorothy Frogg Blair; and his siblings, Helen Blair, Reed Blair and David Blair.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Russell Blair of Cookeville; his children, Chad Blair of Bloomington Springs, Cynthia Spivey of Gallatin and Wendy Askins of Cookeville; his siblings, Dale Blair of Murfreesboro, Ronnie Blair of Nashville, Loyd Blair of Manchester and Phyllis Johnson of Mississippi; his grandchildren, Nikki Dyer, Anna Dunn and TJ Mabry; his great grandchildren, Jettie Mabry and Kyle Dyer; and his great great grandchildren, EJ Dyer, Magnolia Dyer and Axel Dyer.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dyer Chapel (798 S Willow Ave, Cookeville, TN 38501). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to St Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
