He was predeceased by: his parents, Lydia Allen (Smith) and Willard Clay Allen; his wife Fern Allen; his brother Danny Allen; his sister-in-law Sue Barlow Allen; and his stepson Kevin Groce.

He is survived by: his son Kenneth Allen (Deanna); his granddaughter Lydia Allen; his daughter-in-law Joyce Groce; his granddaughter Laura Vitatoe (Stuart); and his great grandchildren, Walker, Lucas and Sadie Vitatoe.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Crest Lawn Funeral Home (800 W Jackson St, Cookeville, TN 38501). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
