He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Oliver of Columbia, Donna Terry of Columbia, Diane Brown of Columbia and Dawne Cates of Columbia; his siblings, Roxie Fralix of Pulaski, Alice Golden of Mt. Pleasant, Gethel Russell of Lewisburg, Lenda Taylor of Mt. Pleasant, Shirley Graham (Doug) of Memphis, Bobby Cates (Faye) of Georgia and Jeff Cates of Mt. Pleasant; and his grandchildren, Darrell Cates, Jason Oliver, Dustin Jett, Brandon Jett, Austin Brown, Matthew Brown, Chelsey Hickman, Shane Chatman, Cody Terry and Corey Terry. He is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren.
