He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Riley and Robin Eakes Riley; his children, Wayne T. Riley, II and Tamela Prange; and his siblings, William Riley, Linda Stanfill, Wyonna Anderson and John Riley.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Boshers Riley; his son Thomas Riley (Jill) of Spring Hill; his grandchildren, Michael Prange, Kaytie Edwards, Ashlyn Hawkins (Clay), Cody Riley (Sarah), Janna Beth Brown (Josh) and Preston Riley; his great grandchildren, Mathis Hawkins and Myatt Hawkins; and his adopteds, Meagan "Lilo" King, Carma Gibson, Kashton King and Zavion King.
