He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Thomas Hardison and Pauline Simpson Hardison; and his siblings, Lois Anne Hardison Cooper and Dr. James Ralph Hardison. He is survived by: his wife Eva Higginbotham; his sons, Wayne Charles Hardison (Pat) of Wilmore, KY, Dr. James David Hardison (Sandra) of Nashville, TN and Kenneth Lee Hardison (Karla) of Columbia, TN; and his siblings, Elinor Norris Hardison and Dr. Thomas Merlin Cooper. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
The family requests that instead of flowers that memorials be made to the Higginbotham-Hardison Endowment Fund at Columbia Academy or to the Mission Endowment Fund at North View church of Christ.
