He was predeceased by: his sister Melissa Reid. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Linville; his sons, Wallace G III (Trey), Jeffrey L. Stanfield, Trey of Lakeland and Jeff of Florence, AL; his grandsons, Branden of Charlotte, NC, Connor of Florence and Tanner of Sheffield, AL.; his great grandchild Bentley Zayn; his brother Clyde (Kathleen); and his brothers-in-law, Leonard Reid and Jim Linville (Linda). He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
