With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vera Rose Allen of Columbia, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 28, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Merrell Rose and Ruby Carlyne Beckenbach Rose; her significant other Bobby Joe Allen; and her siblings, James Rose, Don Rose, Linda Rose and Christine Riddle.
She is survived by: her children, Anita Ring (Ronald), Randy Helmick (Alisa), Tammy Lyons (Keith) and Teresa Doyle (Todd); her sister Merrellyn McCormick; her sister-in-law Joy Turner; her stepchildren, Don Allen (Ann), Michael Allen (Freida), Wade Allen (Dana) and Corrine McKee (Bobby); and her grandsons, Matthew Ring, Asa Aldridge, Logan Doyle, Ethan Stewmon, Hunter Lyons and Conor Doyle. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
