He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack McFarland and Nola Marie McFarland; his wife Minnie Stewart McFarland; his daughter Sheila McFarland; his stepson Claudie Stewart; and his siblings, Odell, Wendell, Paul, Pauline and Mary Sue McFarland.
He is survived by: his daughter Sandra Farmer (Walter) of Madison, TN; his grandchildren, Shayne McFarland (Delania) of Columbia, TN, Jody McFarland (Brandi) of White House, TN, Samantha Farmer of Madison, TN, Bo Farmer of Cleveland, TN and Tommy Farmer of Madison, TN; his granddaughter-in-law Lori McFarland; his stepdaughter-in-law Barbara Stewart; his stepgranddaughter Jane Childress; and his great grandchildren, Kayleigh, Jenna, Klarissa, Rylan and Rowan.
