He is survived by: his wife Mary Fitzgerald; his daughter Penny Popplewell (Nathan); his grandchildren, Ethan Burres, Aiden Popplewell and Alexis Butts; his stepdaughter Becky Butts; his siblings, Sara Nance and Edwards Fitzgerald; his sister-in-law Shirley Harrison; his siblings, Mary Deen, Nolene Horner, Carl Fitzgerald, Jack Fitzgerald and James Fitzgerald; and his parents-in-law, Albert and Ethel Spears. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
