He was predeceased by: his parents, George Edward Jacobs and Sadie Pearl Fitzgerald Jacobs; his sister Marie Sparkman; and his daughter Edwina Joyce Jacobs. He is survived by: his daughter Patsy Jacobs Hedrick (Jans); his wife Ruby; and his granddaughter Brandi Bolton (Chris).
