He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lester Gray and Chelsie Idell Garrison Gray; his wife Cora Dee Mayberry Gray; his children, Melody Gray Bowling and Jeffrey Alan Gray; and his siblings, Marylene McFall, James "Monk" Gray and Guyton Gray.
He is survived by: his children, Talmas L. "Lee" Gray, Jr. of Columbia and Teresa Robinson of Columbia; his sister Winnine Lee Lawson of Hohenwald; and his grandchildren, Cole Bowling (Jessica), Sam Gray, Heather Gray, Tabitha Harder (Mike), Jeremy Gray, Dakota Gray (Misty Felty) and Joe Gray (Kaci). He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.
